Vehicle swallowed up by sinkhole
A vehicle was swallowed by what appeared to be a growing sinkhole near Tampa, Florida.
WFTS-TV in Tampa reports the hole quickly expanded from about four feet to approximately 10 feet wide and 10 feet deep.
The station says six families in nearby mobile homes were evacuated in the area of the depression, and officials worried the hole could continue to expand.
WFTS reports that neighbours have said that construction of a sewer lift station may have contributed to the problem. However, officials continue to investigate the matter.
