Seven-foot alligator washes up on US beach
Beachgoers in South Carolina were left shocked on Sunday after they spotted thi s seven-foot alligator on the coastline.
Some brave visitors attempted to wrangle the animal themselves before police arrived and helped to relocate it away from the beach on Pawleys Island.
Alligators are fresh water animals, and can only handle salt water for a few hours.
