RSPCA rescues sheep from cliff
A rescue team has come to the aid of a sheep that got itself stuck halfway down a seaside cliff.
The RSPCA was called to a cliff face on Poppit Sands, Cardigan on May 19.
The sheep was trapped 40ft up from the sea, and had been stuck there for two days.
RSPCA specialist rope rescue crew attended the scene along with the owner (who had been monitoring the sheep) and carried out the rescue.
The sheep was recovered and lifted up the cliff in a special bag.
Once to safety the sheep was checked over and found to have no injuries, so was resturned to the owner.
