People aren't entirely sure whether Ed Miliband was doing an interview or a therapy session

By Prudence Wade

The former Labour leader appeared on the Andrew Marr Show and was quizzed about his feelings.

When Ed Miliband was interviewed by Eddie Mair this morning things got distinctly more personal than perhaps we’ve come to expect from the Andrew Marr show.

Mair certainly isn’t messing about, asking Miliband questions like “did you cry?” and “were you depressed?” after losing the 2015 election.

For some, it was a welcome change from normal politics chat.

But what was really going on here? For many it felt like Mair had switched from interviewer to therapist.

Others aren’t so sure why Mair was asking such personal questions about something that happened two years ago.

Well, at least Miliband didn’t have to pay to sit on a sofa and talk about his feelings.
