Mother probed over girl Botox jabs
A woman is under investigation in the United States after saying on national TV that she gives her eight-year-old daughter Botox injections.
Kerry Campbell, who enrols daughter Britney in beauty pageants, said she got the idea to give her Botox from other pageant mothers.
Trent Rohrer, of the San Francisco Human Services Agency, said officials wanted to sit down and talk to Kerry Campbell.
Mr Rohrer said it is unusual for a mother to inject a child with the anti-wrinkle shot.
He said his office received numerous calls from people concerned about Britney's wellbeing after the ABC TV appearance.
Botox injections can be painful and are not recommended for anyone under the age of 18.
