JME met with Jeremy Corbyn to chat about why young people don't vote
The two of them shared pictures of the meet-up.
Jeremy Corbyn met up with grime artist JME to discuss why there’s such low turnout among young people when it comes to voting in elections.
The pair sat down together to also chat about “music, education and art”, according to Corbyn’s Snapchat.
JME posted a list of recommendations to his almost 700,000 Twitter followers, telling them to “register to vote, know who you are voting for, know why you are voting for them, vote”.

And others are now hoping that Corbyn will make an appearance at the upcoming Boy Better Know takeover event at the O2.
Did you also explain why he should be attending #BBKTakeover 😄😄— Liam (@MercyLJR) May 14, 2017
JME joins a growing list of grime artists who are backing Corbyn, including Stormzy, Novelist and Akala.
