Jeremy Corbyn munching on a Pringle is the campaign trail moment you've all been waiting for

It sounds like the crowd loved it.

By Georgia Humphreys

Jeremy Corbyn took a moment out of the campaign trail to eat a Pringle offered to him by someone in the crowd.

The Labour leader took the snack – Salt & Vinegar flavour, if you’re asking – without hesitation and gobbled it down, to cheers and chants of “Jeremy, Jeremy” from onlookers.

He was in Cambridge for the BBC Election Debate at Senate House, after making a last-minute announcement that he would be taking part just hours before the broadcast.

Corbyn shook hands with people in the crowd after his snack, as one person is heard saying “you did very well Jeremy”.

Some people on Twitter also seemed to really enjoy Corbyn’s decision to accept the offer of a Pringle.

Given they’re notoriously moreish, we’re just impressed he stopped at one.
