An artist has recreated his favourite Game Of Thrones characters in illustration form and they are seriously impressing the internet.

Artist and character designer Ramon Nunez, 26, has drawn figures like Cersei and Jaime Lannister, Petyr Baelish and Jon Snow in beautiful detail, capturing the essence of their personalities with his own unique style.

“I’m a huge fan of Game Of Thrones – the narrative, history, scenarios, the magic and most importantly the characters,” said Ramon. “As a character designer, I want to draw each of them in my style and capture them in the scenes that I liked a lot.”

The images were posted to image-sharing site Imgur and have received 20,000 views already.

Ramon started a Patreon account a few weeks ago, where he teaches supporters how to sketch and can critique their work if they want.

Patreon is a platform for people to financially support their favourite artists. In return, they will be given exclusive content or interaction with the artist of their choice.

He also encourages his fans to share their theories on the show on his Instagram account, with questions accompanying his illustrations.

Like most creative types, Ramon has been interested in art since his childhood.

However, he began using his current style of digital art around four years ago. He honed his skills by watching tutorials on YouTube by professionals in the entertainment industry.

So far he’s drawn 12 of the characters – here’s hoping he’ll do more as the seventh season progresses.
