Harry Redknapp has already been sacked by Birmingham and people aren’t all that surprised
His 14 summer signings will remain though…
After six straight defeats Harry Redknapp’s time as Birmingham manager has come to an end, the club announced.
The 70-year-old took charge of 13 games, and signed 14 players over the summer – but despite managing to keep the Blues up at the end of last season he left Birmingham with the club second from bottom in the Championship.
The final nail in the coffin was a 3-1 home defeat to Preston, after just two wins in 10 across all competitions.

People aren’t too surprised, but the sacking did come earlier than many expected.

Although after making 14 signings over the summer, including signing Jota from Brentford for a club record fee, some are wondering whether firing Redknapp was the smartest decision.
Harry Redknapp leaves Birmingham City. The 14 players he signed this summer will stay. Supreme planning.— Daniel Storey (@danielstorey85) September 16, 2017
