FUKP launch fag packet manifesto
Al Murray's Free United Kingdom Party (FUKP) have appeared to launch their manifesto - on the back of a fag packet.
Top of the light-hearted five-point plan, posted on FUKP's Twitter account, is "make more stuff, sell it for profit" followed by "build new houses for people who make stuff to live in".
Number three on the manifesto is "t each more stuff in school" - ahead of "something about nurses (people like nurses)".
The final pledge - in a direct appeal to a nation of dog lovers, but a move which could marginalise cat fans - is: "Free dogs for all!"
Comedian Murray, in his guise as the Pub Landlord, is standing against Ukip leader Nigel Farage in South Thanet.
He launched an action plan under the guise of his patriotic character in his bid to reach Parliament, which included a pledge for the UK to leave Europe by 2025 "and the edge of the Solar System by 2050".
The 46-year-old turned up t o hand in his General Election nomination papers in a fire engine converted into a pub.
