Come on people, we need a better word than that.
If there’s one thing British politics has taught us over the last few years, it’s that referendums are bitter, divisive things.
But, with yet another poll on the horizon, there is something everyone seems to agree on: we absolutely should not be calling any new vote on Scottish independence Scexit.
Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon today confirmed her intention to call a fresh vote to give Scots a choice between Brexit and leaving the UK.
Before that though, it might be necessary to have a vote on what it should be called – and at the moment, it’s clear that Scexit would not be popular.
As for alternatives, we’re not 100% sure about any of these…
…but this seems to be a good option.
Or, taking it one step further, this.
Anything but Scexit.
