Prince William has been awarded another honour days before the royal wedding - having a donkey named after him.
The foal arrived at the Donkey Sanctuary charity in Sidmouth, Devon, on April 9 after his mother's owner was unable to care for him, and he has been named in honour of the prince's marriage to Kate Middleton on Friday.
Sanctuary founder and owner Elisabeth Svendsen, who named the foal, said: "It's a real honour to have Prince William with us and I can't think of a better name for him, thus to mark the occasion of the royal wedding.
"We wish the couple the very best this Friday."
