Stan Truelove has transformed his home into a dazzling Christmas display - by decorating both the front and back of it with more than 50,000 festive lights.
It costs him about £365 a month in electricity to light up his house and the property next door, which he also owns, in South Street, Canterbury, Kent.
Father-of-two Mr Truelove, 56, has raised £30,000 in the past five years for the Kent-based Pilgrims Hospice by decking out his home in lights costing around £7,000.
Mr Truelove, who runs a greengrocers and a property maintenance firm, said: "I turn them on at about 4pm every day and they stay on until about 11pm.
"The neighbours love them, as do the many people who walk past every evening just to see them. It's a real local attraction and I'm really pleased with them.
"I got some help putting them up this year from my future son-in-law, who luckily is an electrician. I dare say you could see the lights from space. They are that bright."
