One of the joys of playing video games is being able to do things you’d never be able to do in real life.

And while that may be big things like visiting fantasy worlds or mastering skills with exotic weapons, it might be the simple joy of exiting a tedious conversation partway through.

Reddit user Lakin5 asked visitors to the site to name things that are socially acceptable in video games but not in real life – and here are some of the best.
