Video: Elaborate marriage proposal becomes online sensation
AN elaborate marriage proposal in Portland, US, has landed a man both a fiancée and a viral online video hit.
Isaac Lamb proposed to his girlfriend Amy Frankel last week with what he claimed was the "first live lip dub proposal”.
The video has been viewed over five million times on YouTube.
In the video, 60 of Mr Lamb's friends and family dance and lip synch to the song "Marry You" by Bruno Mars.
"This song really tends to exemplify you and Isaac's relationship - it really does to me,” Mr Lamb's brother says at the start of the video. “So, here it goes.”
Mr Lamb, who is an actor, said he has been surprised by the success of the video, which online commentators said was an uplifting, emotional clip.
"To be honest it’s a little overwhelming. I'm really, really, really touched by how positive people’s reactions have been," Lamb told The Oregonian on Saturday.
"The love I genuinely feel for my fiancée has touched other people. I never expected this and I’m really amazed by the response. My intention was never to make a viral video."
