Temar Boggs has been hailed as a hero after the 15-year old rescued the missing girl by chasing the kidnapper's car on his bicycle.

Boggs said he had a 'feeling' that he would find the little girl when he and his friends joined the search party for a missing 5-year old girl on their bicycles. After searching the woods, the teenager spotted a maroon car, backtracking through the neighbourhood in a suspicious manner.

Boggs recounts looking into the backseat of a car and thinking 'I think that's her'. The group continued to follow the car for 'around 15 minutes'. The girls abductor then stopped and pushed the girl out of the car, who ran to Boggs, looking for her 'mommy'.

The teenager has been hailed as a hero in the local community with the girl's mother stating "He's our hero... there are no words to say." The video, above, opens with Boggs receiving a round of applause from relieved members of the community.

'I'm just a normal person', he said. "It was a blessing for me to make that happen".
