The drummer from popular band Journey has been charged with raping his wife, TMZ.com has reported.
Deen Castronovo's arrest for domestic was reported recently - but court documents state that he has been charged with raping his wife.
The drummer was arrested earlier this month for domestic violence charges relating to his wife.
However, the District Attorney has added a number of new charges including rape, sexual abuse, coercion and unlawful use of a weapon.
Castronovo is currently being held without bail in Marion County, Oregon.
Journey, renowned for their most famous hit 'Don't Stop Believin', removed the drummer from their touring schedule following his initial arrest.
He is due to appear before court this summer.
