Palin reality show full of grizzlies and great outdoors
SARAH Palin has released a trailer for her new television series that shows her canoeing, dog sledding, skiing and watching bears wrestling in the wilds of Alaska.
The trailer sparked an immediate debate over whether Ms Palin will run for the American presidency in 2012, as in it she appeared to indicate she was happier spending time in the great outdoors with her family.
She said: "I'd rather be doing this than in some stuffy old political office. I'd rather be out here, being free."
The former Republican vice-presidential candidate added: "Family comes first. It's just got to be that way."
The series, billed as an eight-week travelogue, will be broadcast from November 14, after the mid-term elections for which Ms Palin is currently campaigning.
The show is being seen by some as a sign that she is gravitating towards the lucrative world of TV. However, those who want her to run for president suggest the series will showcase her family values and allow viewers to see her everyday life.
In the trailer, Ms Palin is shown as an action woman, skiing through mountainous terrain with husband Todd.
She said: "Gosh, we are somewhere that people dream about. This is flippin' fun."
A catchline for the show reads: "No lobbyists, only one agenda. Family. Adventure. Step into Sarah's backyard."
