NY baby shot in buggy - Police believe father was target

POLICE investigating the shooting of a one-year-old boy in New York believe his father may have been the target.

Antiq Hennis was shot in the the head in his buggy on a Brooklyn Street on Sunday evening.

Police also believe the shooting may be gang related, police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said.

The child's father Anthony Hennis had gone to pick up his son at the home of the baby's month to take him to visit his Grandmother.

The boy was being pushed across the road in the buggy when shots rang out.

He was pronounced dead from a gunshot to the head when he arrived at Brookdale University Hospital.
