Junior golf coach charged with sex offences ‘hired hit man’ to murder alleged child victims
A JUNIOR golf instructor convicted of sex offences attempted to hire a hit man to kill his young victims, police have said.
Andrew Nisbet (32) from California has been charged by police with over 75 offences, including child molestation and possessing child pornography.
Authorities claim that he groomed his male students, all ranging in age from 17 to as young as 12, for sex while giving golf lessons.
Now authorities claim they have discovered he wrote letters to a contract killer, saying three of young boys needed to be ‘taken care of’.
He believed he was writing the letters to a hit man – however he was writing to an undercover police officer.
He told the undercover officer who he wanted killed - and how much he would pay.
Nisbet even went as far as suggesting that the hit man should steal his victims' phones to make the murder look like a botched robbery.
Officers searched Nisbet's cell after the letter - and discovered directions to a home of one of his alleged victims.
Now in addition to the original 75 charges he faced he will also be charged with three counts of solicitation to murder.
He is due back in court on the new charges in June.
