Boy (3) found frozen to death after he wandered outside in his nappy

A three-year-old boy who wandered into freezing conditions wearing nothing but a nappy, T-shirt and boots has been found dead near his home.

Elijah Marsh (3), died after he spent an estimated period of up to six hours in freezing temperatures in Toronto, Canada.

Tragically the little boy was reportedly found huddled up to an air conditioner unit just 1,000 feet away from his family's apartment.

Hundreds of people had volunteered to help find his disraught family find him. The family discovered that he was gone when they woke up last Thursday.

A crowd-funding site, set up to help Elijah's family with funeral costs, has raised over $173,000. Justin Kozuch, who is himself the father of a toddler, started the fundraiser hours after Elijah's body was found.
