SHE has boasted of being a fighter with a "titanium spine", a woman with the true grit required to turn America around.
But police reports filed by Michele Bachmann, the controversial Tea Party favourite and Republican presidential candidate, suggest she might have a thinner skin than she likes to admit.
Over the past decade, the Minnesota congresswoman has made eight complaints to police for matters including glitter being thrown at her and stolen campaign signs from her garden.
And Ms Bachmann once reported that she had been kept "against her will" by two women, one an ex-nun, in a lavatory. None of her complaints have resulted in any arrests. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
