Cecil the lion's cubs are faring well under the care of the famed lion's brother, Jericho.

Wildlife experts had initially been worried that Cecil's cubs might be killed by a new male lion that could try and establish his dominance in the pride.

But Cecil's family, seven cubs and three older lionesses, have been captured on camera in Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park.

The footage, released by African Bush Camps, shows the seven cubs travelling through the massive park together.

There were also photos of the pride shared on social media and a statement which detailed the pride to be 'calm and comfortable in their surroundings'.

Zimbabwe's much-loved lion Cecil was killed on July 1 by US dentist Walter Palmer, who was a member of a hunting party that allegedly lured him out of the safety of the park with an animal carcass.

The lion's death has sparked an international outcry with calls for Palmer to be extradited to Zimbabwe to face charges.

Cecil wore a GPS tag and was monitored by a research team at Oxford University.
