Two Italian workers 'kidnapped in Libya'
Two Italian workers have been kidnapped in Libya, according to the Italian foreign ministry.
The ministry said in a brief statement that it had learned about the abduction on Monday.
It declined to provide further details, citing the "delicateness" of the situation.
News reports have said the two men work for a construction company in the Libyan city of Ghat, and that a third person was also kidnapped.
However, the ministry said it had no information to provide about a third person.
