One killed after bombing at Cairo University
One person has been killed and a further four injured by two roadside bombs which targeted riot police outside Cairo University's engineering faculty, Egyptian security officials said.
The officials say the bombs went off seconds apart on Wednesday.
Their target was riot police officers deployed in the area daily in anticipation of protests by students loyal to ousted Islamist president Mohammed Morsi.
Egyptian state TV said that the bombs were crude and homemade.
