Proud dad Shane Long shows off baby daughter Erin
Ireland footballer Shane Long said he is thrilled to be "surrounded by women" with the birth of his second daughter.
The Hull City striker and his wife Kayleah welcomed baby Erin into the world over the weekend.
Shane went online to announce the happy news and share his delight.
"Baby Erin Long is here!! Weighing 6lbs 7ozs and all healthy. Proud dad. Surrounded by women now," he wrote.
The couple are also parents to three-year-old daughter Teigan.
Kayleah posted a photo of the soccer star with his two daughters online.
"Daddy with his girls. Love these three so much. Proud mummy," she said.
"Feeling so blessed this morning, just looking forward to getting Erin home so we can all be together! Fingers crossed won't b long!"
Shane (27) married 25-year-old Kayleah last summer in an intimate ceremony in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow.
The pair wed in The Immaculate Heart of Mary church, where the Dublin Gospel Choir performed a rendition of Chapel of Love.
Shane, who hails from Gortnahoe in Thurles, met partner Kayleah when she was a teenager and he was playing for her hometown club Reading.
The Irish international said that becoming a father has changed his life for the better.
After Teigan was born in 2010, Shane said having a family had "settled" him.
