Jet-setter Thalia to take a break from Big Apple for Christmas
THE not-so-long goodbye.
This weekend, model of the moment Thalia Heffernan will say bye-bye to Manhattan and head back home to Ireland for festive fun and frolics.
But it sounds like it won't be long before jet-setter Thalia heads back to the city that never sleeps.
"She's been setting down the groundwork," an industry insider told the Diary. "And she'll definitely be heading back in the next few months."
Thalia headed to NYC last month and within days had landed a contract with top US agency Ford.
The agency has also represented modelling legends Christie Brinkley and Elle Macpherson.
"She really impressed people. She did a good few shoots and had a lot of meetings with a lot of important people," the source said.
The 18-year-old, who completed her Leaving Cert in June, has learned a lot from her time spent Stateside.
While she was in New York, Thalia met up with several Irish pals including Monaghan-based designer Natalie B Coleman.
