How to wear: Navajo prints
This season fashion gets crafty and the smaller details make the biggest noise.
Inspired by Navajo and Native American patterns, beaded details and geometric prints are everywhere at the moment.
On the spring catwalks the look was prominent at Proenza and Isabel Marant but you need not splash out too much if you want to get your feet wet - from Pennys to Zara, the high street has a take on the look.
For a look so bold it's surprisingly adaptable. The Navajo trend can be worked to the max or simply added here and there for layered texture or a dash of colour. Softer ways to wear the look include beaded accessories that work some life into a simple outfit, fringed boots which add a fashion forward touch or a witty printed poncho which is a perfect way to give some life to the darker nights ahead.
If you are the sort of girl who goes full speed the look works well. Anything goes and there's plenty of texture. Fringing, beading, leather and coloured tile prints. These are the hallmarks of a look fast becoming the counterpoint to some this seasons more minimalist trends.
