LIKE many other Irish, Laura Whitmore and Amanda Byram are on a working holiday Down Under, but it seems the Irish duo are having a pretty good time away from the harsh reality of the I’m a Celebrity jungle.

The pair who are co-presenting on ‘I’m a Celebrity.... Get Me Out of Here Now!’ on ITV2 this week, shared photos of themselves lounging by the pool and hanging out at the beach on Twitter yesterday.

The photo shows the pair, who have become close pals in recent months, splashing in the pool with co-host Joe Swash and eating Ben & Jerry’s marshmallow, caramel and chocolate ice cream.

Former model Amanda, who has left LA to work more in London, tweeted that she was delighted to be heading from cold Europe for sunnier climate before she boarded her plane.

“Right then London, I’m outta here.. It’s time for another adventure and Australia is calling.! #fundownunder #backsoonforchristmas spirit#” she tweeted at the weekend.

Obviously keen to make the most of her Irish contact book, MTV star Laura, who presents the show with ex-Eastenders star Joe Swash, has already welcomed Boyzone star Keith Duffy to the programme.

Determined to make the most of the sun, Amanda tweeted a picture of herself lying by the pool at her hotel before heading out for a night with Laura and show veterans Ant & Dec.

Amanda has been involved in an eclectic number of projects since the cancellation of her BBC show Total Wipeout.

As well as filming The Angel for Sky 1, she also said she would consider taking on an Irish TV role, if the right project came along.
