Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson led a team of stars in supporting Wimbledon runner-up Novak Djokovic's charity.

The mother and daughter actress duo turned out to help raise money for the Novak Djokovic Foundation which supports Serbian children in getting the education and resources they need.

Goldie revealed she was joining forced with the tennis player through her charity MindUP and said: "It's a great, great union and that's why I'm here."

Also at the event at Camden's Roundhouse were Jonathan Ross, Richard Branson, Sarah Ferguson, Boris Becker, Tim Henman and Wimbledon women's champion Marion Bartoli.

Gerard Butler, who trended on Twitter with Bradley Cooper for their matching powder blue suits at the Wimbledon final, explained his admiration for Novak at the fundraiser.

He said: "He's such a class act, I know he's genuinely happy for Murray and for Britain... He gets how important this is for Murray, for Britain, for Scotland. He's an amazing dude, just the perfect sportsman."

Entourage and Mr Selfridge star Jeremy Piven also attended with his take on Gerard and Bradley's matching suits.

He said: "They were in powder blue outfits and they looked like they were groomsmen living the dream."
