Missing the LA high life - Victoria Beckham feels a 'little down' since leaving the States
Victoria Beckham reportedly feels a “little down” about leaving America after her birthday.
The fashion designer celebrated turning 40 last month by taking a trip to the US with her husband David and their kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper. She kept fans up to date with her celebration antics, posting photos and messages on Twitter.
Now back at her London home, Victoria is said to be feeling slightly indifferent about her living situation. She and her family were located in LA for six years while David was part of the city’s Galaxy soccer team.
“Victoria has adored being in LA, she’s happier there and says it makes her feel energised. She’s able to enjoy life without people staring or trying to take pictures. She goes to gym classes, hiking in the hills, shopping on Rodeo drive, and enjoys lunches and dinners – she can’t do that so easily in London, where so much attention is on them,” a source told British magazine Closer.
“Victoria feels a little down about her life back home, but the majority of her work is here, the kids are settled in schools, plus they’re starting renovations on their home. She’s determined to give it another year before deciding what to do.”
It seems the brunette star has lots of fond memories from her birthday trip. David reportedly splashed out on an array of gifts for his wife and their close friend Gordon Ramsay, who along with his wife visited the Beckham clan on holiday, also bought Victoria a gift.
“David bought Victoria a specially-commissioned painting for her birthday, as well as a bracelet with 40 diamonds, worth £100k. He treated her to some gorgeous underwear too, and made a track list of her favourite songs,” the source added. “The kids made a cute photo book and bought her a surfing lesson, while Gordon presented her with a joke cookbook for people who can’t cook.”
