Lord of the Dance decides to sell his Little Venice
DANCE multimillionaire, Michael Flatley, will base his future operations in North Cork and Barbados after deciding to sell his prized London property.
Flatley has sold his Little Venice home in London after deciding his personal and business operations will be based at Castlehyde, North Cork, and his Sandy Lane property in Barbados.
"I decided there just wasn't any point hanging onto my London house given that I probably will be only spending one or two weeks a year there for the next few years," the dancer told the Irish Independent.
"But it was a bit of a wrench deciding to let it go. I spent some great times there," he explained.
With four troupes of Lord of the Dance touring worldwide and his new show scheduled for a gala US opening in October, Flatley said what spare time he will have will be spent in his ?50m Castlehyde mansion.
