Socialite and salon owner Lisa Murphy has said she is "doing okay" following her split from fiance Gerald Kean.

The couple parted ways two weeks ago after a three-year engagement.

Ms Murphy (41) moved out of the home the couple shared in Co Wicklow a week ago and has moved in with her 'Dublin Housewives' co-star Jo Jordan.

However, she is keeping her spirits up.

"It's sad, but I'm doing okay," she told a weekend newspaper.

The couple got engaged in December 2009 and were a regular fixture on the Dublin social scene.

Ms Murphy was previously engaged to 'Lord of the Dance' Michael Flatley, with whom she was in a relationship for six years. She was also engaged to boxer Joe Egan.

Mr Kean was previously married and has a 16-year-old daughter.

Friends of Ms Murphy said that she was now being supported by her family.
