HE vowed he didn’t want his daughter Teddy to grow up in America, and it seems Robbie Williams is true to his word, after putting his plush five bedroom LA pad on the market.

The property, with breathtaking city views, is located on the famous Mulholland Drive, boasts five bedrooms and five bathrooms and a football pitch, where Robbie held regular matches with his soccer pals in LA.

The singer bought the house in 2005 for €2.8 million after he located to American following his split from Take That.

It was here he held his wedding to Ayda Field in 2010. And the star famously boasted that he hardly ever left home, preferring cozy nights in front of satellite UK TV over partying in Hollywood.

The house dates from 1947 and has wooden floors throughout. Over the years there have been various extensions, including one for a garage that can hold four cars and a terrace with spectacular views overlooking the Hollywood valley. Williams has added a lot of British memorabilia throughout, including a wall given over to a retro football image in his entertainment room.

The property has armed guards and high security and neighbours including Jack Nicholson and Sean Penn.

Williams said following the birth of his daughter Teddy in September that he wanted her to be educated in the UK as he was 'hugely impressed' by privately educated children.

“I think aristo kids are well grounded, they're smart and naughty and have original thoughts,” he told the Sunday Times.

The Candy singer has a mansion in Wiltshire in England, where he is living with his family since September.

He announced last week that he is to embark on a massive European tour this coming summer with 17 dates, his first solo tour since 2006.

He has yet to make any announcement of an Irish date, but hinted on the Late Late Show that he would be coming back following his massive sell out concerts in Slane and Croke Park.
