Taylor Lautner has revealed that the Cuckoo cast would play childish games on set.
The Twilight hunk, who has joined the cast of the BBC Three show, admitted his co-stars including Greg Davies, Helen Baxendale and Esther Smith would often revert back to being kids.
" We have a lot of games we played on set - we were a bunch of five-year-old kids," he recalled. "We had the 'ear game' and the 'hand game' (where you have to try and knock the other person's hand)."
Taylor plays Dale 'Cuckoo' Ashbrick Jr - the son of Andy Samberg's character - in the second series.
" I randomly ran into Andy about a week before I went to London to film. He heard I was doing the show and was really excited about that. But he was shocked when I told him my character is his son. He thought it was hilarious," he said.
The 22-year-old actor, known for playing werewolf Jacob Black in the Twilight movies, admitted he was initially nervous about being in a comedy.
"I wouldn't say I was confident at first, but I was certainly excited to give it a shot. And I knew I would be surrounded by people who knew what they were doing so they would be a huge help," he said. "I remember doing the first table read with everyone and I was definitely intimidated. I was a fish out of water coming into it and they couldn't have been more welcoming."
He added: "One of the things that excited me about this show was that it would have so many less restrictions than we deal with in the States. We get to play around and do whatever we want, and make the best show we can."
:: Cuckoo begins on BBC Three tonight (August 7).
