'It's the Vanity Fair for Irish people' - Ireland's well-known faces share their 'LIFE' memories for birthday bash
Models Rosanna Davison, Holly Carpenter and Teodora Sutra gathered together showing off their night’s style as Yvonne Keating and Miriam O’Callaghan gathered around to blow out the cake’s candles.
The front cover of Sunday Independent LIFE magazine has featured some of Ireland’s most well-known faces for the past decade.
And these faces gathered at a star-studded bash tonight for the magazine’s tenth birthday.
Celebrating the magazine’ success after a decade, the cover stars and fans alike all had something to say about the Sunday favourite.
“As Brendan [O’Connor] said in his speech, it’s like the Vanity Fair for Irish people,” Yvonne Keating said at tonight’s birthday bash.
Although Yvonne loves to catch up on other people’s lives, she favours the cooking, interiors and gardening features.
Meanwhile, panto queen Adele King, better known as Twink, says she has kept and cherished every LIFE magazine she has featured in and was ‘delighted to live to see’ her daughter feature on the glossy pages too.
Top model Theodora Sutra says LIFE magazine is her must-read for beauty and fashion tips, as well as the social pages.
TD Mary Mitchell O’Connor, who featured in a cover-shoot under the headline ‘Quite Contrary’ is also a fan of the magazine and said it’s about much more than celebrities, food and style; “It’s about life,” she said.
Images of the most iconic covers adorned cupcakes as wine and cocktails were poured in Grafton Street’s Brown Thomas.
