Hair today, gone tomorrow – Wayne Rooney gets second hair transplant
HE’S recently become a dad for the second time, and although they say stress can cause hair loss, it may not be the case for Manchester United star Wayne Rooney.
The striker hit the headlines in 2011 after he underwent a hair transplant for the first time, after beginning to go bald at a young age.
However the 27-year-old underwent a second procedure last week at London’s Harley Street Hair Clinic.
The clinic says the nine hour procedure is a standard follow up to the original hair transplant two years ago.
There’s been a huge increase in interest in hair transplants since Rooney had the €20,000 procedure.
The striker tweeted a picture of himself with wife Coleen as they attended a Rihanna concert last night.
Coleen gave birth to the couple’s second child last month, with the pair enjoying a rare night out since the birth.
Baby Klay was born on May 21st, a younger brother to the couple’s 3-year-old son Kai.
