FX: Morgan's show waiting for him
Tracy Morgan's new TV series is on hold for him until he recovers, FX Networks have said.
The company put out a statement updating the status of the TV project planned for the comic, who has been left critically injured by a highway crash in New Jersey. But FX added that Tracy's recovery is all that matters at the moment.
The 30 Rock star's recuperation is expected to take weeks. The company says that whenever he decides he is ready to work, "his show will be waiting for him."
His half-hour comedy was scheduled to start filming in August, for a January premiere on the FXX network.
Tracy suffered a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs when a tractor-trailer rig smashed into his chauffeured limo bus. One passenger was killed. Three others were injured.
