Exclusive: Inside Jack Reynor and Madeline Mulqueen's low-key engagement party
Young love birds Jack Reynor and Madeline Mulqueen celebrated their engagement in typically low key fashion, throwing a secret party for family and friends.
The unassuming couple hosted an intimate gathering on Saturday night in Odessa Club and Restaurant on Dublin’s Dame Street.
For the evening, Madeline, who is represented by Distinct Model Management, wore a black bandage dress with square gold rivets and cut out sides from online retailer iclothing.ie.
The Limerick beauty shared a picture of her party look and thanked Di Milo Hair Design in Donnybrook, Makeup Forever and brow artist Corinna Tolan as her “heroes”.
Several of the pair's inner circle were instructed not to use social media on the night as they wanted the evening to be an intimate affair.
However, Madeline (22) broke her own rules as she posted several images beaming with pride as she posed with her “mother bear” and two best friends.
Invites for the bash were sent out last month and the pair left the location a mystery until the last minute.
Jack and Madeline became engaged in March this year after two years of dating.
The pair are preparing for a global promotional tour for Jack’s upcoming blockbuster movie Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Wicklow native Jack plays Shane, a race car driver opposite Mark Wahlberg.
His breakthrough role in 2011’s ‘What Richard Did’ earned him household name status, which caught the attention of Hollywood director Michael Bay who said “this kid is the real deal”.
Jack, who attended Belvedere College, recently wrapped filming for Macbeth, alongside Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotilliard.
Sources confirm that the 22-year-old will be joined at the premieres in 12 international cities by his fiancé Madeline Mulqueen. Madeline (23) rose to fame when she starred in the viral music video for the Rubberbandits ‘Horse Outside’.
