Cat Deeley tells US TV that she 'has seen the light' with Patrick Kielty

IT’s been show business worst kept secret, and now Cat Deeley has gone on TV to profess her love for Patrick Kielty.

The Birmingham born presenter who has a huge career in the States on TV, happily discussed her relationship with Kielty on a chat show.

The ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ host told talk show diva Kelly Ripa that she has been with Patrick for a few months now and loves being nicknamed either Pat-Cat or Catric.

“I have finally seen the light,” Cat said of finally getting together with Patrick. “Ladies just like to take their time.”

“I am no longer a single lady. I am dating a really old friend of mine. I have known him for 10 years.”

The 35-year-old blonde beauty made her public debut with the 41-year-old Irish comic at last week’s Glamour Women of The Year Awards and they have been seen strolling around Los Angeles together arm in arm.

Kielty appeared on The Late Late Show on Friday night, but refused to be drawn by host Ryan Tubridy who quizzed him on the relationship.

The pair have been pals for over a decade after working together on BBC talent show Fame Academy several years ago.

The couple are now said to be renovating Cat’s $3 million Beverly Hills mansion and are planning on moving in together.

Cat split from True Blood star Michael McMillian last October after four months together and had also dated Angelica Huston’s nephew Jack for two years.

The County Down man has in the past dated Amanda Byram and Fearne Cotton. He has also been linked to socialite Jemima Khan, actress Sienna Miller and Swiss supermodel Alizee Gaillard.
