Abrams to adapt King novel for TV
JJ Abrams is in talks to turn Stephen King's JFK novel into a TV series.
The Star Trek Into Darkness film-maker is planning to adapt the book for the small screen, through his Bad Robot production company, who are negotiating for the rights to 11/22/63, reported Deadline.
The story follows an unassuming divorced teacher who comes across a time portal that leads to September 9, 1958 and decides to try to prevent the assassination of John F Kennedy in November 1963.
Revolution and Person Of Interest, which are also produced by Abrams' Bad Robot, have been renewed for another season.
Stephen's other novel Under The Dome has also been given the green light to be turned into a drama series, which will be shown in the summer.
