Dramatic footage has been released of the fatal shooting of a 20 year old man by U.S Bureau of Land Management officers in Nevada.
The footage, which was recorded on police dash cam, is being used in a federal wrongful death lawsuit taken out by the dead man's family.
D'Andre Berghardt Jr. is seen being hit twice with stun gun darts by the police officer, before being hit on the head with a baton. The man was then shot and killed when he tried to enter the trooper's vehicle.
The officers found Mr Berghardt in the Nevada desert - disorientated and walking with a backpack, bedroll and rolling suitcase about 20 miles west of downtown Las Vegas, according to reports. The Bureau of Land Management claims that Berghardt was 'walking in traffic and annoying passing cyclists' before the incident occurred.
