First look at the cellar of cafe where victim of Fred West is suspected to be buried

Footage of the cellar area of the Clean Plate café in Southgate Street, Gloucester on the day excavation work began, Wednesday May 19. In the footage chalk markings can be seen on the floor. These are areas highlighted for surveying work after police found "possible evidence" of where a suspected teenage victim of serial killer Fred West may be buried. Forensic archaeologists have been undertaking exploratory work in connection with the disappearance of 15-year-old Mary Bastholm who was last seen alive in January 1968.
