The Miss Universe pageant has featured its first transgender contestant. Miss Spain's Angela Ponce made history walking in the show in Thailand.
She beat 22 competitors to win the Miss Spain title and reach the finals.
The Miss Universe Organisation lifted a ban on transgender contestants in 2012. The theme of the 67th Miss Universe competition was "Empowered Woman".
Contestants had to answer questions on topical issues such as the Me Too movement, and migration.
The pageant was won by Miss Philippines' Catriona Gray.
