UCD vaccine centre has huge queue as HSE tells people not to attend booster in Dublin

The HSE has warned the public not to show up at the walk-in vaccination clinic in UCD this morning as there are “very large queuing times”. Walk-in clinics have been opened around the country so people in eligible age groups can receive a booster Covid vaccine, or unvaccinated people can get their first or second dose. Instead of going to UCD, the HSE told the public in a tweet to go to the Shoreline centre in Greystones, Co Wicklow, at least 35 minutes away by car. “Very large queuing times. Please do not go there as the centre is at capacity. Shoreline vaccination centre is open from 9 to 5,” the HSE wrote. The walk-in clinics are for specific groups aged 12 and over on specific days, and people should not attend if their age group is not being called for a booster at this time.
