Strictly’s Shirley Ballas backs new campaign hoping to break down taboo of suicide
An outdoor gallery on London’s South Bank has been unveiled by Shirley Ballas. It displays smiling photos taken in the last days of 50 people's lives. Among the faces is Ballas' brother David, who took his own life aged 44. Organised by suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (Calm), it hopes to raise awareness and help break the silence and the stigma around suicide.
