Smoke rises from Kyiv after Russian attack
As Russia's attacks on Ukraine continue, smoke rises again from the capital, Kyiv on Saturday morning (Apr. 16). Anadolu Agency Video News (AAVN) camera captured massive columns of smoke rising from an area near a tank repair plant in Darnytskyi District after Russian shelling.
There has been no statement from Ukrainian authorities about the fire yet. At least 1,982 civilians have been killed and 2,651 injured in Ukraine since the start of the war in late February, according to UN estimates, with the true figure feared to be much higher.
