Santa sends urgent 2020 message and answers questions from children of Ireland

Santa Claus has urged children to be extra kind, after what has been a difficult year for parents. He was speaking on a video message sent directly from the North Pole, where he answered questions sent in by the children of Ireland.

Although he hasn't been able to visit as many children as he would like in the lead up to Christmas, he is still able to speak over video call – thanks to the team at Elf Town Galway.

In the video Santa answers a coronavirus-related question from four-year-old Ava of Swords, Co. Dublin, before responding to some general queries from Wicklow's Lana-Rose and Layla Breslin.
