Police in Northern Ireland investigate spate of attempted cash machine thefts


The Police Service of Northern Ireland has appealed for information following a spate of attempted ATM thefts in Co. Down and Belfast. On November 18, robbers caused serious damage to a petrol station in Ballynahinch, Co. Down, while attempting to steal an ATM from the forecourt. On the same day, robbers targeted a machine at a health centre in Belfast.
