JJ Houghs, a 250-year-old pub based in Banagher Co Offaly, have created a sketch video highlighting the 'different manifestations pubs have gone through since the first lockdown.'
Like many pubs, JJ Houghs has transformed into a restaurant, takeaway service and outdoor pub since the coronavirus came to Ireland.
The video, which is funny but can be seen as equally tragic, shows the pub jumping between restrictions at a frantic pace; kicking customers out into the cold before they can take a sip from their drinks.
We then see the bizarre scenario of the pub transforming into a school, in a bid to keep the business alive.
"It's about the lengths we went through to overcome the hurdles to just keep the business alive, not to profit, just to survive," pub owner Ger Hough told Independent.ie.
The pub have even started selling merchandise online as they continue to adapt to life with Covid-19.
The video was a team effort, with colleagues and family chipping in with acting efforts and the creation of music for the video.
